Whenna'Lin led an average Jhiirsaiian existence afterwards- living with her parents (often visiting the Chxalli island and expanding her knowledge of the Elementals), and when she was old enough, going to school with the rest of the young Jhiirsai population. Her years at school taught Whenna an even greater loyalty to her homeworld than she had had in the past- now that her connections spanned the globe, her friends heralding from lands near and far from her own family home. When the dragoness graduated, and once again surprising everyone who thought that they knew her, Whenna'Lin set her bonding trip aside and enlisted in the Jhiirsaiian armed forces.

Skilled and devoted, Whenna caught the eye of her father's mate, Nin'Queesha, and accompanied the Bre'Ama in a short search for one of her daughters. The experience, though brief, was both exciting and instructive. Whenna realized with something like shock when she almost lost her life, that she had no family of her own... no blood to carry on her name. With Nin'Queesha's blessing- Whenna'Lin suspended her force activity and returned home. It was there, with the encouragement of her father, that Whenna'Lin began to organize the FlammaAqua Frenzy- in which she hoped to find mates worthy of her and her blood... and to finally start the family that she so desired.
