| Description: |
Beca is a beautiful dragon, even unadorned or tattooed. Her bipedal body, flexible and muscled, is accented with a powerful set of clawed legs, and long arms ending in nimble hands. Beca's face is long muzzled and framed by a pair of short horns, which sprout out of her head plate, and a pair of stiff, pointy ears. She has a long, almost hair like mane flowing down from underneath her head plate, the same fur on the tips of her double ended tail, and along the back edges of her limbs. This fur is mostly gray, though on her head and tail, the lower layers are a bright red color. The rest of Beca's body is a dark brown, marked with lighter skin tones on her muzzle, chest, back and hind legs. She has gray dappling on much of her belly, upper neck, and tail. When adorned, Beca has her mane plated and beaded in proper Jhiirsaiian fashion, and also has several piercings on her wing membranes. She has no battle tattoos and her personal sign is a simple circle on the inside of her wing membrane.

Beca has a tragic sort of personality and she is a die hard romantic. Like her father, she believes in "goodness" and loves to play the part of the hero. Also like her father, Beca gave her heart away at a young age and despite all odds remains loyal to her love. Unlike her father, Beca is a true Jhiirsaiian- with a quite unhealthy distaste for her own heritage. She finds the Yautjadragons... and the Yautja, to be disgusting and immoral. This hatred stems somewhat from the culture of the Yautja themselves, which revolves around the sport of hunting xenos and other dangerous beings- and has led to the infestation of many planets, and the fact that by Yautja tradition Beca's father, Sayen, is unblooded and thus somehow less than his siblings who did go through the ceremony. Because Beca is Jhiirsaiian, and because she is a student of the Guen'vela, Beca has a strong connection with all living things- and finds the hunt to be simply wrong. She can't stand the bigotry of her people... and though Sayen himself really doesn't seem to mind being Unblooded, it is only another reminder for Beca of the arrogance of her people.
While the dragoness dislikes much of her blood family- Beca is extremely loyal to the Chxalli clan and seems to consider them to be her true family. It is with them, far from the violence and pride of Beca's image of the Yautja, that the dragoness is at her best, her happiest. She is a playful dragon, sorely connected with the living soul of the universe and all in it; Beca finds pleasure in the simplest things. Her love, when given, is pure, and her desire for peace and love is endless.

Beca was born during the massive Ihlathi FlammaAgua Frenzy. Unlike her siblings, however, she chose to remain with her father, on the planet that she had been born to... to the world that immediately captured her heart. A part of Beca could never see why her siblings left her father and her... and the feeling of confusion soon led the dragoness to dislike her own blood family. She felt betrayed by them all, and more... she felt disgusted by them.
Beca's childhood, as it is for most Jhiirsaiians, was filled with learning and exploration- and what Beca focused on, was learning about her people... and in doing so, she learned to hate them. Her heritage began to not only inspire distaste, but shame. She sought to settle her spirit by studying the Linile art of balance, or the Guen'vela. Though this did seem to soften some of Beca's strange aversions, it could not do everything for the dragoness.
Her life with the Chxalli, her life as a part of that family, made Beca into a friendly and adventurous dragon- but it also left her wondering at her place in the world. She could study balance and observe it in family members such as Nin'Queesha, but Beca could never truly inspire balance within herself. This failure drove Beca to frustration and she could find no way past her weakness. Finally, when Beca fell in love with Sayen's other charge, Arram, the dragoness found what she had been searching for... Now all she has to do is gain Arram's love, to make him feel for her what she feels for him.
If anything... with or without Arram, Beca needs a soulmate of some kind. A creature who could share her confusion and pain- someone who would be there for her, and whom she could be there for.

Personality: Beca is a lot like her father, in many ways. She insists on being 'good' and is constantly going out of her way to keep life in line. Beca, loves the traditions of her homeworld- but has a strange aversion for her own heritage. She hates the bloody customs of the Yautja, and while she is not a pushover, Beca is not a fighter. She believes in settling things through talk, and physical confrontation is always last on her list. Because of this, Beca has a low tolerance for her own family (her father aside) and can be out right vicious when around them. In Beca's mind, her true family transcends blood- and includes only those truly loved. The bottom line with Beca is to not cross her... she may not outright attack her antagonist- but she isn't stupid and there are other ways to get revenge.
