Built for Singapore, Israel donated weapons and its fire control system to the
manufactor, who gifted two to the IDF. The Fearless class is a fast and
capable ship.
The Fearless is like any other Corvette in most respects.

The Eilat is similar to the French Lafayette class, in that its odd angled, fully enclosed shape makes its Radar signature almost nothing. The ship was designed for patrolling up to 20 days in the shipping lanes.

Basically a Sa'ar IV PMB lengthened to take the SAM cells and the Aegis
Command and Control System, the Nirit is a fully capable corvette which is
almost a Frigate in combat capability if not for her small size. During
a battle against Hassad Gunboats off the coast of Lebanon, a Sa'ar IV PMB was
buzzed by a Turkish F-5. Despite using all of their ammo, the Israeli
ship did not land one hit on the jet. Seeing this weakness, the Israeli
navy created the Barak air-defense missile, and added it to the class.
