Description: Tey can take on any form that she chooses, and change her size by depositing or taking on metal from her surroundings. Tey cannot, however, change her voice, or her primarily golden coloration. Among members of other species, Tey's coloration is often a give away, and between her and different members of her own kind, Tey's voice and personality may be the only thing that sets her apart.

She seems to enjoy designing an appearance for herself that she will stick with for some time, usually years. Her current appearance of choice is similar to that of a serpent. She takes on a long, snake-like body, with a rounded, almost featureless face centered by a pair of golden eyes. She has a long mane which begins in the center of her forehead and runs part way down her long form. Her body is smooth in texture, except where her golden surface ripples like struck liquid. In this form, she typically moves by floating through the air, and seems to have no qualms with simply appearing to pass through metallic walls and doors.

Another appearance that Tey takes on fairly often is that of a female Human. She is of average Human height in this form, and her visage is one of perfect beauty. She tries to dull the luster of her golden skin, in order to pass as Human, and the only part of her that is truly golden in appearance is the long, wavy hair which frames her sculpted face.
Personality: It is extremely hard to describe a personality such as Tey's, because, like her appearance, she seems to be able to change it at will. The most outstanding feature of her personality is that she goes through obvious phases of interest and morals. Tey is an extremely intelligent creature, and despite the centuries that she has spent in the Material Plane, she likes to spend her time on different experiments. She will take on a life style, appearance, and personality which she believes suits the purpose of her inquiry, and then she will go out into the world and see how the beings of the Material Plane react to her. While this has amused her for quite some time now, several centuries in the least, it is certain that Tey will eventually grow tired of the Material Plane and then return to her home.

Currently, Tey has taken on the character of the The Red Dusk's owner, a dragon's bond, and an adopted mother. As the owner of The Red Dusk, Tey is something of an unofficial leader. Those living on the ship respect her opinions greatly, and she is often sought out for the wisdom of her answers. She does not go out of her way to interfere with the workings of the ship, however, and she does not take part in the commercial workings of the group at all. She comes and goes as she pleases, and while most of the crew members appear to trust Tey, she tends to disappear quite a bit, sometimes for several months at a time.

It is not entirely clear what Tey thinks of her bond, but there is a definite sense of disappointment which emanates from the Elemental when Riiz is brought up. If anything, Riiz's open and growing dislike of Tey is somewhat surprising to the Elemental and certainly not what she expected of their relationship. She is much closer to her adopted son than her bond, and while she is not the kind to give up on any of her experiments, she certainly does seem to have lost most of her interest in Riiz. Nonetheless, Tey is willing to do much of anything to protect and care for her bond, even if the dragoness refuses to be as close to her as Tey might wish. All in all, despite her flighty nature, Tey seems to enjoy The Red Dusk family more than much of anything that she has encountered in the Material Plane, and has put nearly the full force of her powers and abilities behind them.
History: No one really seems to know how old Tey is, nor how long she has been in the Material Plane, so the full extent of her story is unknown to any but her. She seems to have entered the Material Plane of her own free will, as she has the ability to open portals between the two realms, but once and a while she hints at having been summoned by a magic user too unprepared to properly control her.

In recent times, Tey is known to have taken on the Mandalorian culture for a time, before she slipped away into the universe to bond with Riiz and began to build The Red Dusk's spacer crew.

Notes: Tey may be a metal elemental, but that is not her defining trait. She has been noted in the past as a Goddess of both love and war, as well as one of progress -- depending on what world and what time you're looking at. She may be very long-lived, but she prefers to segment her life into specific time periods, stockpiling memories away to keep herself feeling young.
