Ballari has a distinctly saurian look to her- as she walks on two muscular legs, sport a long, stiff tail, and lacks anything like the wings that most dragons have. Most of her body is a light blue color, striped with yellows and oranges. Where her wings would be a double set of blue, almost insect-like appendages sprout from the thick pink mane that runs down from her forehead to her hindquarters. She has a short, pleasant face, which is framed by a pair of purple horns, one broken near its base.

Ballari is one of those dragons who really has a reputation of being friends with just about everyone. She is a kind-hearted dragoness, interesting and humorous enough to be a rather attractive target for friendship. Ballari has an openness about her that makes her seem safe despite her size and somewhat rough appearance, and she generally doesn't disappoint. However, those who take Ballari's friendliness to be weakness or stupidity will invariably be taught otherwise, because Ballari has something of a temper when she has the mind to get angry, and she is most certainly smart enough to know when people are trying to use her. She can also hold a grudge for quite sometime, and doesn't seem overly prone to forgiveness unless she is rather close to the person that she is upset with. | Despite the fact that Ballari makes friends with ease, she does have a select group of close companions whom she considers to be family, as she really has none of her own. To these, Ballari shows general Jhiirsaiian loyalty. She is always watching out for them, keeping their spirits up. Ballari is an adventurous dragon, and brave. She doesn't easily lose her cool, and because of that, she makes a good support. She really tends towards optimism, straining always to see the good in things no matter how bad they have become. She is a little bit naive, but her faith in herself, makes Ballari a strong character. History: |
For the most part, Ballari has had a typical Jhiirsaiian life. She was born offworld, in her species' homeland, but was brought to Jhiirsai at a young age. She was taken in by the Ohanzee family, and took on as much of their essence as she could, though Ballari had some problems connecting with her new family. It was only once she was old enough to be sent to the Academy that Ballari really found herself feeling as though she belonged. She had always been able to make friends with ease, but Ballari met Kendi and Talz'rai at the Academy and the three just clicked. They did everything together, and these close friends became more of a family than anything that Ballari had had before.
| Once Ballari and her friends graduated the Academy, however, the three found themselves unsure of what to do next. Most graduated students were evaluated by the clans, but Kendi, Talz'rai, and Ballari decided to do otherwise. They didn't want to start their adult lives just yet... they wanted more adventure and freedom... so Ballari suggested that the group spend some time exploring. Talz'rai took this to the next level by finding the little group a ship, the Star-Shadow... Though initially they had planned on going just the three of them, the group soon found themselves expanding... before they left, Ballari's two adopted siblings tagged along, a bonding Tonaa was assigned to them, and one of the Kendi's adopted siblings came as well. As their journey began, a few more dragons joined them, stranded or in trouble, the Star-Shadow crew was always willing to take in more. Ballari, though she did feel a bit crowded, was mostly happy to see that her little family was expanding. Ballari's desire to bond will further expand the Star-Shadow's crew... Original Stats: |
