Israeli medals are some of the hardest to earn, as they do not participate in UN/NATO missions, and bravery is considered to be commonplace for soldiers.  Their bravery medals have been awarded less than a hundred times since they were created in 1948.

Etour HaGevora

Medal of Valour

Israel's highest honour, awarded fewer than 30 times.

Etour HaOZ

Medal of Courage

Awarded for battlefield courage.  Awarded fewer than 40 times.

Etour HaMofet

Medal of Distinguished Service

For battlefield Service above and beyond.

Chief Of Staff Citation

Awarded in peacetime only.  Not a medal, ribbon only.

OC Territorial Command Citation

Awarded in peacetime only.  Not a medal, ribbon only.

Divisional Commander Citation

Awarded in peacetime only.  Not a medal, ribbon only.

Police Heroism Order

Highest Police award, for supreme commitment to Israel.

     
    Police Valiant Conduct Order

Awarded to Police who prove themselves in a dire circumstance.

Police Exemplary Conduct Order

Awarded to Police who prove themselves in dangerous circumstances.

Police Distinguished Service Order

Awarded to Police who excel in their efforts to better Israel.

Lebanon Campaign Medal

For military service in the Lebanon Campaign in 1982.
