Leopard I 1A4 (C1)
Germany, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Holland, Netherlands
The first German post-war tank was the highly successful Leopard I. It has been extensively modernized, particularly in the areas of fire control and armour protection. Although supplanted in front-line German service by the Leopard II, it remains in use by territorial units as well as by Belgium and Canada, where it is known as the C1, as well as other NATO nations. There is a drivers hatch on the middle front deck, and a loader's hatch and commander's hatch on the turret deck.
An engine replacement can take up to 20
minutes thanks to its modular style powerplant.

Leopard I 1A5 (C5)
Canada
The first German post-war tank was the highly successful Leopard I. It has been extensively modernized, particularly in the areas of fire control and armour protection. Although supplanted in front-line German service by the Leopard II, it remains in use by territorial units as well as by Belgium and other NATO nations. There is a drivers hatch on the middle front deck, and a loader's hatch and commander's hatch on the turret deck.
This improved version has tougher armour and much better fire control. It has extended the Leo's useful combat life within Canada. Even with this outdated armour piece, Canadian gunners still win the NATO tank shoots yearly.
