The Hamilton Spectator for this period is not available, and so I had to rely on the Toronto Globe and the Hamilton Evening Times for the following information. The Hamilton team in question appears to have been the Tigers. The games were played as part of the OHA series. Games between Hamilton and St. Catherines had to be played in Hamilton due to lack of an appropriate rink in St. Catharines. The game on January 20 was probably not played due to inclement weather. The Hamilton Evening Times, for instance, stated on January 23 that "hockeyists are lamenting the fates that Jack Frost has submitted to them."

In the January 16 Hamilton Evening Times, it was mentioned in the "Hockey" section of the sports column that "in Tuckett trophy competition the Thistle Curling Club defeated the Granites by 16 points. Mr. Tuckett, the donor, witnessed the game." I am inclined to think that this is actually referring to a curling match, but will make note of it here until I know for certain.
