AN AWESOME TEAM EFFORT! In late early September of 2002, the BSA began shipping the revised Cub Scout Academics and Sports Program Guide. This excellent new program guide is the culmination of an extensive effort by a group of dedicated Cub Scouters who have served as members of the Cub Scout Sports and Physical Fitness, Arts and Academics, and Cub Scout Academics and Sports project teams, along with a host of youth and adult volunteers who have assisted in the development of this program. This re-work of the traditional Sports and Academics program adds five new Academics areas and four new Sports areas while removing four traditional Sports items. |
